After completing the phototherapy and returning home, we were joined by Karen's coworker Joanna and little Audrey, who came to lend a helping hand.

Joanna's husband, Fred, works at the Cornell Vet School and will soon be joining the veterinary faculty at Auburn University. We briefly considered sabotaging his job search so that they would be forced to stay with us in Ithaca. They will be missed.

Here you can see the little blanket that we made for Molly on our first day home. She really wanted to be swaddled, but it was also blazing hot outside, so we made her a special lightweight blankie.
